The Yorke Collective is a fresh new chapter for our much-loved local market, bringing together the creativity, produce, and community spirit of the Yorke Peninsula in one welcoming space. Formerly known as the Maitland Markets, The Yorke Collective will showcase a diverse range of locally made crafts, handmade goods, homegrown produce, and unique creations from talented regional vendors. Open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm, it’s the perfect place to discover something special, support local makers and growers, and celebrate the vibrant community that makes our region so unique. Our Vendors

Little KaPut is a boutique, locally owned business by Kylie, who handcrafts beautiful woodwick soy candles and premium reed diffusers in small batches. Based on the Yorke Peninsula, Kylie focuses on creating high-quality, thoughtfully made products that bring warmth and fragrance into everyday spaces. You can now find Little KaPut stocked in the collective, supporting a passionate local maker

Made With Love By Me is a heartfelt handmade business creating beautiful crochet gifts, each piece carefully crafted stitch by stitch. From thoughtful keepsakes to cosy, one-of-a-kind creations, every item is made with patience, creativity and care. Perfect for gifting or keeping something special for yourself. You can now find Made With Love By Me in the collective, supporting a local maker who truly pours love into every creation.

Koolyworx

KoolyWorx is a locally run business by Clayton, an artistic blacksmith based on the Yorke Peninsula who creates unique, handcrafted keepsakes from iron, leather and wood. Each piece reflects his passion for traditional craftsmanship and creativity, blending raw materials into one-of-a-kind items with character and story. You can now find KoolyWorx in the collective, supporting a skilled local maker and his distinctive handmade work.

Seawynd Designs 

Seawynd Designs is a locally run business by Helen, who creates a beautiful range of engraved and printed pieces designed to be both meaningful and practical. From personalised keepsakes to custom-made items, her work combines creativity with attention to detail, using a variety of materials to bring each design to life. You can now find Seawynd Designs in the collective, supporting a talented local maker and her thoughtfully crafted creations.

Anthea Louise

Anthea Louise Art Creations is a locally run business by Anthea, an artist who creates unique visual, functional and wearable art inspired by colour, texture and creativity. Using a mix of fibre, paint, ink and collage, she transforms materials into one-of-a-kind pieces including wall art, jewellery and handcrafted accessories. You can now find Anthea Louise Art Creations in the collective, supporting a passionate local artist and her beautifully expressive work. 

Pam Gloyn

Pam is a talented local maker who creates beautifully handmade bags and sewn pieces with care and attention to detail. Alongside her craft, she is also a dedicated volunteer, giving back to the community while sharing her creativity through her work. You can now find Pam’s creations in the collective, supporting both a skilled maker and a valued local volunteer.

Stehele Mix

Helen Toman is a talented local maker who creates a beautiful range of handmade jewellery, lanyards, sewn pieces and macramé. Her work reflects a love for creativity and detail, with each piece thoughtfully crafted by hand. Alongside her making, Helen is also a dedicated volunteer, giving back to the community while sharing her skills. Kelly Summerton

Kelly has called the Yorke Peninsula home for the past 18 months and creates beautiful ocean-themed shell art and collages inspired by the coast. Alongside her creativity, she is also the collective’s manager, doing an incredible job supporting local makers and bringing everything together behind the scenes. You can find Kelly’s work in the collective, celebrating both her artistic talent and the passion she brings to the space.

John Weeks

John captures the stunning beauty of the Yorke Peninsula through his photography, showcasing its coastline, landscapes and quiet moments in nature. Based in Adelaide with a shack on Yorkes, he has a strong connection to the region that shines through in his work. You can now find John’s photography in the collective, bringing a piece of Yorkes’ natural beauty into your home.

Percys Plants

Percy’s Plants is a local favourite, offering a beautiful selection of plants grown with care and passion. Alongside his greenery, Percy sometimes brings in fresh flowers straight from his mother’s garden, adding a special, homegrown touch to his stall. His love for plants and relaxed, community feel shines through in everything he does . You can now find Percy’s Plants in the collective, supporting a local grower and his ever-changing range of lush, vibrant plants.

MBC Foods

MBC Foods is a Yorke Peninsula-based business known for its delicious range of salt and pepper flavoured coatings, perfect for seafood, meat and more. Their popular blends come in a variety of flavours including original, lemon & garlic, chilli & lime and gluten-free options, all made using locally sourced sea salt. Alongside their coatings, they also offer gourmet salt, pepper and other local produce. You can now find MBC Foods in the collective, bringing a taste of Yorkes and easy, flavour-packed cooking into your home.

Melvellous

Melvellous is a creative handmade business by Mel, who designs and crafts fun, detailed clay earrings in a wide range of unique styles. From playful novelty pieces to colourful everyday designs, each pair is carefully handmade with a real eye for detail and personality. Nourished by Jo

Nourished by Jo is a Yorke Peninsula-based business by Jo, a passionate local foodie who brings together a mindful mix of food, community and connection. Known for her delicious grazing platters and locally inspired offerings, Jo focuses on nourishing both body and soul through her work, whether it’s catering, workshops or shared food experiences. Authentically Raw SA

Authentically Raw SA is a locally run creative business specialising in laser cut and engraved pieces, perfect for unique gifts and home décor. Sonya Crooks
